Birding Brigantine

Coots Hiding in the Grass

Every year a huge flock of Snow Geese gathers at Brigantine NWR near Atlantic City, NJ and I just can’t get enough of watching these beautiful birds, so I make a pilgrimage to see them each winter.

I saw the flock from a great distance when I first entered the Auto Loop, which was a good omen, so I decided to enjoy all of the other birds along the way.

Finally! Some Snow Geese, but not the big flock. Where are they?

I never did find the big flock of Snow Geese, but what a beautiful day to spend outside observing nature’s finest ducks.
